What happens when the Z4 GTE debuts for next season? Schnitzer with Z4s or M3s?
I'd say let any teams running the Z4 run it, but let Schnitzer run the M3 as a last hurrah for that car. BUT, that's taking into consideration that both cars can be fairly balanced, AND the balancing squad is not overloaded in incorporating both.

Thinking I might run in P2 car for this race to get a sort of headstart on next season, as it looks like my 2013 P1 plans may have fallen out the window.

Nice clip from Silverstone Ricky ! ;) It looked much more impressive with my cockpit view though...

I was pissed because it was the first time of the race we were lapped by P1's and I didn't expect them that soon so I was only concentrating on my battle with Sting and shrinking and I was plain scared when everybody passed me on both sides without calling the move ! So much in fact that I forgot to brake for turn 1 and lost 2 positions in the process..... :(

That's why I'm happier in the LMP classes (that was only my 5th GT race in here). In GT, even if I know there is a LMP coming up behind me, I'm doing all sorts of mistakes because I'm so scared of being hit !!! If I race here next season it will be in a prototype for sure !
We all passed you before the start/finish line. How did that mess you up going into turn 1 is still confusing me. Plenty of time to get back on your line and make the corner.

Because he was rather rattled. He does explain that lol ;)
You get used to it after a while Michel, though to be honest I think most of us GT drivers still spend a bit of time holding our breath when surrounded by prototypes. Good clean passing by the P1 guys in Lobby 2, good calling and driving, thanks.

Good drive Michel! Both of the drivers who have subbed on for Luxury this season have had stellar debuts, Canadian and Michel a million thanks guys

His concentration was broken, and thus he was unable to mentally set himself up for the corner. A.K.A. he became focused on the fact that there prototypes passing him, and was not focused on task of hitting his marks in the next turn. It is important for us GT drivers to expect when a Prototype or other faster car is coming up behind so that we can prepare to let them by safely and so that we are not caught off guard by a prototype. In real life, they have a flagging system to let a car know when a faster car is coming up behind, but in Forza we don't. So, it is crucial for both drivers to start communication very early so that neither driver gets caught out unnecessarily.

Speed i dont think you can say "us GT drivers" You havent raced in how long? lol. But you dont always need communication. I made half of my passes yesterday without saying anything. Some people would rather call out the passes, some not so much. But it doesnt help the ferrari has no mirrors or anything in cockpit view

I know in Lobby 2, every time one of us P1 drivers lapped a GT car, we'd communicate to them which side we would pass on, and they'd make sure to acknowledge. Communication is key when lapping slower classes, and lack of it has led to issues in this season before.

Does anyone know the build/restrictions of the HPD P2 car? I have a friend interested in running P2 in the FLMS, and I'm unsure if the build in the regs is correct.

As a GT driver I can tell you now that I don't need any communication from P1 guys, I'm much more comfortable keeping track of the other cars myself, that way I don't have to rely on anybody else. I'm not saying P1 guys would be forgetful or dangerous. But I'd rather trust myself and if something goes wrong know I've not put my race in somebody else's hands - I'm a capable person and I know that, therefore I'll trust my own view

Just stay on your line, no communication needed at all that way.

I find that with most of the GT guys I race with, they tend to just give us one side of the track and tell us to go there before we're even on them for the pass, so a lot of the time they're a lot of help.

Most of the time me and you end up having a full blown conversation about aeronautics instead of where I'm going to overtake. Usually it does tend to end up with me being confused and seeing stars by the next corner....
"I did what I did for the good of the realm." "The realm? Do you know what the realm is? It's the thousand blades of Aegon's enemies, a story we agreed to tell each other over and over until we forget that it's a lie." "But what do we have left once we abandon the lie? Chaos? A gaping pit waiting to swallow us all?" "Chaos isn't a pit, it's a ladder. Many who have tried to climb it fail, never get to try again. The fall breaks them. Some are given a chance to climb, but they refuse, they cling to the realm. For the gods, for love. Illusions, only the ladder is real. The climb is all there is."
