Not surprised Aston is leaving, the BoP screws the Vantage so hard compared to the other GTLM cars it's laughable, even with the changes they made for Sebring.

I'm just hoping the P2 cars can actually have a shot to win this time. Seriously, why DPs are even still around is beyond me. They were originally conceived as a cheaper alternative to proper LMP cars, but now with the LMP2 cost-cap system in place and DPs having to add so many bits and pieces to get up to P2 speed, the whole point of DPs, being cheaper then LMP cars, doesn't exist any more.

Aston are running four cars in WEC, A fifth in ELMS, And need a sixth for Craft Racing for Le Mans... Unless they build another car, Or risk smashing up one of the factory machines they won't be on the grid at Sebring.

Not like it matters, atleast they're a strong team that still can be beaten. Better off them vs some squillion dollar operation that can't be beaten. Nothing against Audi, Bentley (lol) and Peugeot have trounced them.....

Still, hopefully the P2s will give the DPs a touching up at Sebring otherwise this series will look like it's really favoring the DPs. Wasn't there a rumor going round the P2s would be limited to LM aero for all tracks?

they were going to force the p2 with LM aero, but that has been changed i believe. I think all they need to do is a tiny change in HP itll be fine. Im okay with the DP's being faster because they shouldnt be able to double stint the tires. From what i heard awhile ago p2's can double stint them, which only gains you a couple seconds since the stupid pit rules where you can change tires when refueling

The Pro AF Corse cars are basically factory...

Four of the Astons will be customer entered. Don't see how three factory cars = try hard.

Is the goal not to win the race? If it means another car up at the front of the class battling for the win giving the spectators a viewing experience, Then whats not to like?

Damn Porsche must be extremely try hard having two factory cars in P1 and GTE!

Oh and on topic... Aston have officially pulled out of Sebring, And probably the rest of the NAEC rounds.
